Rich buns with pear

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Today I made pear buns, because it's the season for this wonderful fruit. The pear is quite sweet, so I didn't add much sugar to the dough. My buns just melt in the mouth and are perfect with tea, coffee, milk, or compote. I showed the entire sequence of steps in detail in photos with step‑by‑step descriptions.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Heat the milk and pour it into a bowl. It should be warm, not hot. Add the yeast and a tablespoon of sugar. You will need 7–8 g of dry yeast. Stir the mixture until the yeast and sugar are completely dissolved. Let it stand for 10–15 minutes, until the yeast activates and becomes foamy.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

    Pour in the sunflower oil.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Also melted butter, add salt, vanilla sugar, and the remaining 4 tablespoons of sugar.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Sift the flour into a deep bowl or pot.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Pour the prepared mixture of milk, yeast, salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, sunflower oil, and butter into the flour.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

First, mix all the dough ingredients in a bowl. Then place the dough on a flour‑dusted table and knead a soft, elastic dough that does not stick to the hands. In fact, it won’t stick to the hands or the table. The dough is very easy to work with.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and place it in a warm spot. After 50–60 minutes it will increase significantly in volume.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

While the dough is rising, attend to the pears. Wash them, peel and cut into small pieces. Place them in a skillet, add a little water.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

Simmer the pears over low heat, stirring occasionally, until all the juice evaporates. The filling for the buns is ready.

  10. 10

    Step 10

    Step 10

Divide the dough into pieces weighing 50–60 grams. Round each piece into a ball.

  11. 11

    Step 11

    Step 11

Roll each ball into a flatbread and place the pears in the middle.

  12. 12

    Step 12

    Step 12

Join the edges of the flatbread at the top, forming a pouch. Then roll the pouch into a ball. The bun is ready.

  13. 13

    Step 13

    Step 13

Arrange the buns prepared in this way in a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
