Soft buns for Easter
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Easter is a joyful and bright holiday, during which it's customary to treat guests to sweet pastries along with boiled eggs. And since I'm not particularly fond of store-bought baked goods, I have to prepare a huge amount of buns and Easter bread myself. This particular recipe for Easter sweet buns is my family's absolute favorite. First of all, thanks to its wonderful taste and aroma, and secondly, because of the adorable Easter decoration. Overall, the result is incredibly beautiful and indescribably delicious buns. And if you're already thinking about what to bake for this joyful holiday, I'd be happy to share the recipe with you. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions

Step 1

Pour 2 cups of milk into a saucepan, add 0.5 cup of sugar and canola oil. Place over heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
- 2
Step 2

When the liquid cools to a warm state, pour the yeast into it.
- 3
Step 3

Then carefully add the flour, stirring constantly.
- 4
Step 4

Stir until smooth.
- 5
Step 5

Now cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 1 hour.
- 6
Step 6

After the time has elapsed, remove the cloth and add a small amount of flour.
- 7
Step 7

Next, add salt, soda, and baking powder.
- 8
Step 8

Knead the dough thoroughly.
- 9
Step 9

In a separate container, add sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper, and mix well.
- 10
Step 10

Sprinkle a small amount of flour onto a flat and smooth surface.
- 11
Step 11

Place the dough on the surface and flatten it with your hands, then sprinkle with the sugar and spice mixture.
- 12
Step 12

And place 1/3 of the raisins (they need to be washed and dried beforehand).
- 13
Step 13

Fold the dough in half.
- 14
Step 14

Now, once again, level it with your hands.
- 15
Step 15

Sprinkle with cinnamon again.
- 16
Step 16

And half of the remaining raisins.
- 17
Step 17

Then fold again, smooth out, and repeat the procedure once more.
- 18
Step 18

Now shape the dough into small circles - these will be our buns.
- 19
Step 19

Place each circle onto a baking sheet, and when you've used up all the dough, cover the future buns with a cloth and let them rest for a while.
- 20
Step 20

In a deep plate, mix the white of one egg with 3 tablespoons of milk.
- 21
Step 21

We spread this mixture on each bun.
- 22
Step 22

Now place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 150-180 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes.
- 23
Step 23

Meanwhile, beat the egg into a bowl and mix it with powdered sugar and a tablespoon of milk.
- 24
Step 24

On the ready-made buns, use icing to draw a cross.
- 25
Step 25

And now our wonderful Easter pastry is ready.
