Soft buns
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To make soft and tender sweet buns, prepare the dough using the sponge method. First, make the sponge, then prepare the dough. Be sure to add butter, egg, and make the sweet dough with milk. Follow my detailed recipe and give it a try. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Measure out the ingredients. I use the same 200 ml cups for flour and milk. Let's get started!
- 2
Step 2

Dissolve fresh yeast and sugar in warm milk, add a raw egg. Mix well.
- 3
Step 3

3. Add a cup of flour, mix with a wooden spoon and let the starter sit for 10-15 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

4. When the sponge rises and starts bubbling slightly, add the melted butter (50 g) and 3 tablespoons of refined oil. Mix the dough with a spoon.
- 5
Step 5

5. Add the remaining sifted flour and vanilla. Knead a soft dough.

Step 6

6. This is the kind of kolobok I ended up with. The dough doesn't stick to the hands, it's tender and fragrant. Cover it with a clean, dry towel and let it rise in a warm place for 2 hours.

Step 7

7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon or just sugar, if desired.
- 8
Step 8

8. Roll it up and slice into pieces. The width is up to your preference. I cut it into 9 pieces.
- 9
Step 9

9. Place the buns on a greased baking sheet, leaving space between them. Let them rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes. Brush the tops with egg or butter.

Step 10

10. Bake the buns at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes. Baking time may vary, depending on your oven. Let the buns cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
