Carp in sour cream
Description
Carp baked in sour cream at home with herbs in the cavity turns out very aromatic. Soy sauce adds a piquant flavor, and the sour cream coating creates an incredible crust. I also recommend adding a little mayonnaise for a more interesting taste note.
Instructions

Step 1

1. First, thoroughly clean the fish and rinse it under running water. Mix the soy sauce with pepper and pour it over the fish on all sides, including inside the cavity. Let it marinate for about half an hour.

Step 2

2. When the fish has marinated a bit, turn on the oven and let it preheat to 180 degrees. Wash the herbs (for this pike-perch recipe in sour cream, I use dill, basil, and parsley) and place them inside the fish cavity. By the way, you can also use frozen herbs. If desired, you may also add lemon slices inside.

Step 3

3. Prepare the spices that will give the fish flavor and aroma. Rub them thoroughly on all sides of the fish. Coat it well with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise.

Step 4

4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and grease it with vegetable oil. Place the fish on it and put in the oven for 20 minutes. Then carefully remove and turn it over to the other side so it browns properly.

Step 5

5. After another 20 minutes, the fish should be well cooked. I hope you'll enjoy my version of how to prepare carp in sour cream. Serve it with vegetables, a side dish, or sauce.
