The easiest Chinese meat buns
Description
The pastry is prepared simply and quickly. In the original recipe it was suggested to put Siu Mai dumplings in the bread. What kind of creature that is, I don’t know, and you can’t find it for sale here. I replaced the dumplings with meatballs made from ground meat with spices and ginger. It turned out very tasty! If you freeze the meatballs in advance, you can quickly prepare an interesting snack. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

Mix the ground meat with chopped green onion, cilantro, parsley, fresh ginger, and hot pepper. Add the extras to taste, according to your preferences. You can add a little oyster sauce, a pinch of brown sugar, and salt. Knead the meat well. With wet hands, roll small meatballs – no larger than a quail egg. Place them on a board or plate and put them in the freezer until firm. These meatballs can be fried or steamed – they are very tasty.
