
Cheese samosa from puff pastry
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. For making these samsa, we will need any brined cheese. In this case, it's "Suluguni." Cheese samsa made with puff pastry is an amazing snack that can be enjoyed both hot and cold. Optionally, sprinkle the top with sesame seeds for extra flavor—they go perfectly with the samsa. Look, the pastry is ready. Serve at the table.

1. A very simple recipe for samosas made with puff pastry. This national dish of Uzbek cuisine is traditionally prepared with unleavened dough, but I decided to experiment—and succeeded! For the filling, I used Suluguni cheese, which goes perfectly with puff pastry.

2. Knead the dough: add oil, salt, and vinegar to cold boiled water, then add flour and mix everything thoroughly.

3. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30-50 minutes, then cut it into portions and roll each portion out. Grate the cheese on a grater.

4. Place the filling in the center, then fold the dough together from three sides.

5. Grease the baking tray with oil and line it with parchment paper. Place the samsa on the tray and put it into the preheated oven at 200°C. During baking, reduce the oven temperature slightly and continue baking the samsa until done (when the surface turns golden brown).
