Chicken and cheese samsa
Description
Delicious pastry for the whole family. If you enjoy dishes made with puff pastry, you'll definitely love this samosa. Optionally, you can brush the samosas with beaten egg before baking and sprinkle with white and black sesame seeds. Serve warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Rinse the chicken fillet and pat dry with paper towels. Then remove any membranes and finely chop with a sharp knife.
- 2
Step 2
Peel and wash the onion, then slice it thinly or cut into small squares. Add the onion to the bowl with the chicken, and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3
Grate any hard cheese on a grater. Add it to the other ingredients in a bowl. Alternatively, the cheese can be cut into small cubes instead of grating. Thoroughly mix the samosa filling.

Step 4
Take the ready-made puff pastry out of the freezer and let it stand at room temperature. Once the pastry has thawed, roll it out into a thin sheet and cut out circles from it.

Step 5
Place a spoonful of filling onto each circle, fold the circle in half, then fold it again to form a triangle. Place the samsa on a baking sheet and bake at 220 degrees for 20 minutes.
