Meat-filled samosa made with puff pastry
Description
This is a very simple dish that disappears within minutes. And it's all thanks to its juicy filling, while the incredible taste makes you go back for seconds—and even thirds. Now I'm sharing with you a wonderful recipe. The pastry is ready. Serve it at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the meat into small pieces 1-2 cm in size. This size is considered traditional for samsa. I do not recommend using a meat grinder.
- 2
Step 2

Chop the onion. You can mince it using a blender. Add the onion to the already sliced meat.
- 3
Step 3

Continue making the mince. Add cumin, salt, and pepper to this mixture, and mix well.
- 4
Step 4

Now it's time for the dough. Roll it out into small circles. Place the prepared filling in the center.

Step 5

Shape our samsa into triangles (as shown in the photo). Now, here's a trick that few other housewives use. Mix an egg with two tablespoons of water. Using a brush, coat each samsa with this mixture. This will give the pastries a golden crust.

Step 6

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Sprinkle all the samsa with sesame seeds and place them in the oven to bake. After 25 minutes, reduce the temperature to 160 degrees and let the samsa stand for another 10 minutes. And it's ready! Call your family, delight them with delicious pastry!
