
Samosas with vegetables

Prepare all ingredients.

Prepare the filling. Peel the vegetables. Grate the carrot on a grater, and dice the onion into small cubes.

Sweat the carrot and onion in butter for 2–3 minutes, stirring.

Add the tomatoes and sweet bell pepper, cut into small pieces.

Mix all the vegetables, sauté everything together for another couple of minutes, add spices to taste, and remove from the heat. Let the filling cool.

Roll out the thawed puff pastry into circles about 18 cm in diameter.

Cut each circle exactly in half.

Bring two opposite edges together, pinch-seal along the whole edge, and fill with the vegetable mixture—about 1–1.5 tsp.

Pinch the remaining edge. In this way, shape all the samosas.

Place the samosas on a baking sheet and brush with egg yolk.
