
Fruit samosas
Description
Indian cuisine is very diverse and multifaceted. It has a huge number of interesting and delicious recipes, one of which is fruit samosas.

Step 1

1. Vedic cuisine does not use eggs when preparing dough. To make the dough: sift the flour, slightly salt it, add water, and knead into a firm dough. Let it rest for about forty-five minutes. First, wrap the dough in plastic wrap or cover it with a plate to prevent it from drying out. Put a small amount of butter into a saucepan and melt it. Add cinnamon and ground coriander, mix well, then add dried fruits and fresh fruits. Fry for about five minutes (all liquid at the bottom should evaporate), then set aside to cool for a while.

2. Roll out a thin flatbread from a small piece of dough, then divide the flatbread into two equal parts.

3. Bring together the edges of the semicircle to form a cone shape. This will serve as a kind of envelope where we'll place the filling.

4. Hold the cone in your hand, place the already cooled fruits in the center of the envelope, then carefully pinch the edges closed.

5. Pour a generous amount of vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it up, and start frying the samosas until a golden-brown crust forms. You can also deep-fry them.

6. When the samosas are fried, let them cool slightly, then sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
