Lime and Coconut Salsa

Description

Recipe for sauce at home. In a small skillet, toast cumin seeds over medium heat until browned and fragrant, about 3 minutes. Let cool slightly, then coarsely chop with a knife. In a food processor, blend onion, garlic, and chili for about 10 seconds. Add cilantro, crushed cumin, lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of water, coconut flakes, salt, and oil; blend until a paste forms. Serve the salsa at room temperature. Perfect with pasta, meat, and vegetables.
