
Salsa (classic recipe)
Description
Homemade sauce is easy and quick to prepare. Of course, fresh tomatoes are best for salsa, but they require a lot of work since you need to peel and chop them. This time I decided to take a shortcut and use canned tomatoes. So the recipe turned out classic, but in a quicker version :) The finished sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients and wash the vegetables. If using fresh tomatoes, peel and chop them. I use canned tomatoes in their own juice.

Chop the onion, garlic, cilantro, and jalapeño. Squeeze the lime juice. Put everything into the blender bowl along with the spices and blend. I prefer to leave some vegetable pieces.

This is the wonderful, fragrant salsa we'll end up with. Salt to taste.

Serve with tartlets or your favorite appetizers.
