Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

First, pour water into the saucepan, add salt, and add all the spices and seasonings from the list. Bring the brine to a boil.

Cut the salo into large pieces.

Transfer the lard into the boiling brine and cook it for exactly five minutes. That is precisely why it is called "Pyatiminutka" ("Five-Minute").

Place the prepared salo in sterile jars, cover with brine, and seal with sterile lids. Wrap the jars in terry towels and leave until completely cooled.
