Sourdough Sugar Buns
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Making beautiful buns with sourdough starter is very easy—just prepare a rich sourdough dough in advance and shape the buns. For enhanced aroma and flavor, I recommend sprinkling the buns with a mixture of regular and brown sugar; it will give them a beautiful golden crust. These buns can be baked individually or arranged in a pie shape, as shown in this recipe. Optionally, decorate the buns with melted chocolate, chopped nuts, or diced dried fruits. Serve warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.

Brush the pie with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 minutes. Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack.
