Sago
Description
From this amount of ingredients, I got two small portions of porridge. If you add a couple of pieces of meat, vegetables, or a salad, it will be enough to feed a hungry person. The porridge is very tasty mainly due to the broth, as sago itself is bland, but filling and rich in microelements. Add your favorite spices, and you'll definitely enjoy this porridge! Cook with pleasure.

Step 1

To cook porridge in meat broth, you first need to prepare the broth. I recommend using meat or soup cuts. Today, I used veal ribs. Place the meat in a pot, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, and cook for 10 minutes after boiling. Discard the broth, cover the meat with fresh cold water, and continue cooking until tender. Add salt only at the very end. You can add vegetables (onion, carrot, root vegetables) to the broth. Store the finished broth in the refrigerator.

Step 3

Bring the meat broth in a saucepan to a boil, season with salt to taste. Add the rinsed grain and cook for 15 minutes. Use 3 tablespoons of grain per cup of liquid. Stir the porridge frequently.

Step 4

After 15 minutes, the grain will swell, become soft, and the broth will have completely evaporated. Remove the porridge from the heat and add a piece of butter, stirring immediately.
