Chinese-style ribs with fried rice
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Chinese-style ribs with fried rice isn't a traditional Chinese dish—it's merely my culinary improvisation on a Chinese theme. Still, the improvisation turned out quite successful—everyone quickly devoured it and asked for seconds, but there weren't any. The recipe does take quite a bit of time, but what sacrifices won't you make for a delicious meal? :) Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the pork ribs thoroughly, then salt and sprinkle with Chinese spices. Place in the oven and bake for 2 hours at 150 degrees.

Step 2

Now prepare the sauce. In a saucepan, mix soy sauce, grapefruit juice, ketchup, rice vinegar, and sugar. Add whole garlic cloves and whole chili peppers. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for another 15 minutes until thickened.

Step 3

After 2 hours, take the pork ribs out of the oven, pour the resulting sauce over them, and return to the oven for another 20 minutes at the same temperature.

Now let's prepare the side dish. Cut the carrots into small cubes.

Step 5

Separate the broccoli into florets.

Step 6

Place the carrots in a saucepan and pour two cups of water over them. Boil for 10 minutes, then add the broccoli and cook for another 2 minutes.

Then add the rice cooked to semi-readiness, sprouts, salt, and vegetable oil to the pan. Add 2 tablespoons of the sauce prepared for the meat. Fry over high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Serve the cooked pork ribs with a side of rice.
