
Cheese and Fish Pie with Cheddar
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The fish pie is easy to prepare and requires only a few ingredients. The result is a complete meal, as the pie contains potatoes and peas. Moreover, fish pie can be considered healthy food. When topped with Cheddar cheese, it gains a delicate flavor along with a crispy golden crust. Serve hot.

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grate the Cheddar cheese. Peel and dice the potatoes. Finely chop the parsley. Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. Place the potatoes in a saucepan with cold water and set over medium heat. Add salt. Place the fish in the baking dish, skin side down. Season the fish with salt and pepper. Pour milk over the fish, covering only half of it. When the potatoes begin to boil, place the fish in the oven. Let the fish and potatoes cook for 20 minutes. While the potatoes and fish are cooking, blanch the peas in water for 3 minutes and drain. When the potatoes are cooked, drain them and set aside.

2. Remove the fish from the oven and preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Pour the milk into a bowl. Using two forks, gently separate the fish from the skin. Discard the skin. Mash the fish with a fork and spread it evenly in the baking dish.

3. Add butter and three tablespoons of the milk in which the fish was cooked to the potatoes, and mash. Add the cooked peas to the mash and mix.

4. Spread the potato and pea mixture over the fish on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with parsley and grated Cheddar cheese.

5. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, flipping once after 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
