Dukan fish pie
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A fluffy, delicious pie can be served anytime: for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can take it to work, on a trip, or on a picnic. The main thing is not to forget to add baking powder so the batter bakes through instead of collapsing into one lump. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients listed. Open the canned food and chop the fish into pieces. Grind oat bran into coarse flour.
- 2
Step 2

Beat chicken eggs with milk of any fat content in a deep container, adding salt. Optionally, you can also add other spices or seasonings to the batter.
- 3
Step 3

Gradually add the ground oat bran and mix thoroughly. Leave the dough at room temperature for 20–30 minutes so the bran can absorb liquid and swell.
- 4
Step 4

Add baking powder to the dough and mix everything once more. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 5
Step 5

Grease the pan with vegetable oil and spread half of the prepared dough into it. Place the fish filling on the dough. Dice one quarter of a peeled and rinsed onion and arrange it over the filling.
- 6
Step 6

Spread the remaining dough over the filling and put the tin in the oven for about 30–40 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

After the indicated time the pie will be fully baked. Check it with a wooden skewer—it should come out dry.
- 8
Step 8

Transfer the pie to a plate or serving dish and serve, cut into individual portions.
