Fish Under a Skirt
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Another take on everyone’s favorite open-faced sandwiches with sprats. Spread bread slices with soft cream cheese mixed with egg yolk and a salted pickle. Top each with 2 sprats, which can be replaced with another fish (for example, kilka). Let’s decorate the appetizer in a fun way: cut bell pepper into “skirts” and “boots” and place them on the fish “legs.” Very pretty and original. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Add the egg yolk to the cottage cheese.

Finely chop the cucumber.

Add the diced cucumber to the cheese. Mash the yolk with a fork. Mix.

Spread the bread slices with the obtained mixture.

Place 2 sprats on each.

Garnish with sweet pepper "skirts." Cut boot shapes from the pepper and attach them to the legs.
