
Fish cutlets in tomato sauce

Prepare the ingredients for the patties and sauce. Thaw the fish at room temperature and peel the vegetables.

Separate the fish fillet from the skin and bones. Finely chop the onion and carrot. Soak the bread roll in milk. Fry part of the onion in vegetable oil until cooked.

Place the fish fillet, bun, fried onion, salt, egg, spices, and one garlic clove into the grinder bowl.

With wet hands, shape the prepared minced mixture into patties, coat them in breadcrumbs or flour. Fry in vegetable oil until a nice crust forms.

Fry the carrots and the second part of the onion in vegetable oil. Pass the tomatoes through a meat grinder or juicer and add to the vegetables, along with a garlic clove, bay leaf, and salt. Simmer.

Place the ready patties into a heatproof dish. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Pour the tomato sauce over the patties and bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes. Serve the dish hot!
