Ducane-style fish patties
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I prepared these fish patties according to the Dukan diet—meaning minimal carbohydrates. By the way, there's no bread or flour in them. Yet they hold their shape perfectly! Want to know how I managed that? Read the recipe. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

Separate the fillet from the backbone. Remove the large rib bones. Cut the fish into pieces. Take a blender and grind everything into a paste.

Step 2

Break a couple of eggs into the fish mince. Finely chop onion and add it as well. Add two tablespoons each of starch and oat bran. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly and start shaping the patties.

Step 3

Take out a frying pan. Heat it with a piece of butter. Place the patties in the pan and fry them on both sides. Add a little water, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Fish patties cook quickly. Everything is ready in half an hour. Serve them hot, straight from the pan. Although they are probably just as good when chilled.
