Fish cutlets for children
Description
This recipe won't take much time. I think almost every mom has faced a situation when a child refuses to eat certain foods, especially fish dishes. And since fish contains many vitamins and minerals essential for a child's body, we often have to resort to little tricks. In this recipe, I'll show you how to make fish patties that your child will happily eat—and might even ask for seconds. The secret is that we'll hide a quail egg inside each patty, so when your child eats lunch, they'll get a little surprise. My nieces always get excited when they discover this unexpected treat inside the patty, which is why I often prepare these homemade fish patties for them. By the way, they're not only very healthy but also incredibly delicious, so the whole family can enjoy them, not just the kids. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, we thoroughly rinse the fish, dry it on a paper towel, and remove all the bones from the fillet.
- 2
Step 2

Then cut the fillet into small pieces and mince it using any convenient method—using a meat grinder or blender.
- 3
Step 3

Soak the white bread in milk, leave it for a couple of minutes, then squeeze out the excess milk once it has absorbed the liquid.
- 4
Step 4

Add our bread and egg to the minced fish fillet, mix thoroughly, and season the mixture with salt.
- 5
Step 5

Boil quail eggs until fully cooked, which will take no more than 3-4 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

When the eggs have cooled, peel them. Put the breadcrumbs into a separate bowl.
- 7
Step 7

Now wet your hands under running water and shape the patty from the minced meat. Place an egg in the center of the patty, bring the edges together, and form a meatball.
- 8
Step 8

Coat each patty in breadcrumbs and place them in the steamer basket; cook for half an hour.
- 9
Step 9

Or grease the baking sheet with vegetable oil and bake the patties in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

Step 10

In both cases, it turns out very tasty. Enjoy your meal, everyone!
