Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Rinse the pollock fillet and dry it with a kitchen towel or paper towels. Then cut the fillet into small cubes.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the onion, finely chop it, and add it to the fillet. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 3
Step 3

Add finely chopped green onion scallions and starch to the sliced fillet. Gently mix and gradually add flour.
- 4
Step 4

You might need less flour; the main thing is that the patties hold together. Wet your hands with water and shape small round patties.
- 5
Step 5

Coat the cutlets in breadcrumbs only on the top and bottom.
- 6
Step 6

Now mix flaxseeds or black sesame with white sesame and coat the sides of our patties. The fish patties will look very original.
- 7
Step 7

Place the fish patties on a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil and fry over medium heat for a couple of minutes until a crust forms. Then reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer the patties for 5–7 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

Carefully flip the cutlets and fry until golden brown on the other side. There's no need to cover with a lid anymore.
- 9
Step 9

Serve the ready fish patties hot with any side dish. By the way, cooled patties are also very tasty.
