Permy-style fish cabbage rolls
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Fish cabbage rolls turned out to be a real discovery for me, and the fact that they're also "lazy" ones is an added joy. These rolls are very simple and quick to make, essentially using just three ingredients: rice, fish, and cabbage. You can use any fish you like—pollock, pangasius, or any other variety you prefer. Check out my recipe. The finished dish is ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the required amount of cabbage until soft and finely chop it. Cook the rice until done in slightly salted water.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the tilapia fillet into small pieces and place them in the blender bowl. Process the tilapia fillet into a paste. You can also use a meat grinder, but a blender makes the job much easier and faster.
- 3
Step 3

Mix the minced fish, cooked rice, and cabbage. Add salt and pepper to this mixture. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in vegetable oil, then add it to the filling.
- 4
Step 4

Thoroughly mix the minced meat, shape it into small sausages, and place them on a baking tray. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Then add tomato juice or tomato paste diluted in broth or water to the dish. I also add a little more ketchup, which gives it a tangy flavor. Return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.

Step 6

Permy-style fish cabbage rolls are ready. Serve them hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
