Fish casserole with potatoes

60 min4 serv.19 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Moreover, you can use smoked fish fillet—it will turn out to be a very original and unusual casserole, perfect to serve at a festive table among family and close ones. If the fillet is raw, I recommend boiling it for 5–10 minutes, then gently squeezing out excess liquid—especially if the fish was frozen. Otherwise, your casserole will end up "swimming." Once you know it's ready, the dish can be served.

On a well-heated skillet with vegetable oil, fry the potatoes, then add the onions and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Our goal is to make the vegetables golden and crispy; they do not need to be fully cooked through. Don't forget to season with salt at the end!
