
Fish in cream
Description
You can use any fish for cooking, preferably in the form of fillets. You can use cream of any fat content. The higher the cream's fat content, the richer and creamier the taste of the finished dish will be. Serve the dish with a side of mashed potatoes.

Before starting the preparation, gather all the necessary ingredients. If the fish is frozen, thaw it and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

For breading, mix flour with salt and spices. As a spice, you can use a ready-made fish seasoning blend.

Cut the fish into portion pieces.

Coat each piece of fish thoroughly with flour on all sides.

Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot skillet and place the fish coated in flour. Fry the fish for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Mix the cream with water and pour over the fish. To prevent oil splatters, first remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for half a minute. Then you can pour in the mixture. Bring everything to a boil and simmer, covered, over low heat for 5–7 minutes.
