Fish in milk
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Cod turns out delicious in any form. I decided to try this original recipe of fish cooked in milk for the first time. The result is amazing! To prepare fish in milk, we need spices, a little lemon juice, and especially cloves and bay leaf. The cooked fish is very tender, so don't weigh it down with a heavy side dish. Simply boil some vegetables. The dish is ready to serve.
Instructions

Step 1

Cut the cod fillet into small portion-sized pieces. Pour milk into a deep frying pan, add peppercorns, cloves, bay leaf, and salt. Bring the milk almost to a boil, add the fish, reduce the heat, and simmer until cooked.

Step 2

The milk will thicken, and the fish should easily break into pieces, which means it is ready. Remove the fish and place it on plates.

Step 3

While the fish is simmering, you can prepare the sauce. Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add finely chopped green onions, season with pepper, sprinkle with flour, and stir. When you remove the fish, pour the milk into the saucepan with the onions and flour. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until the milk thickens.

Step 4

Add lemon juice to the sauce and mix. While still hot, pour it over the fish on the plates. Serve the cooked fish in milk with broccoli and cauliflower.
