Description

The fish cooked in a jar turns out very juicy and tender, with the flesh easily separating from the bones. If desired, you can add a clove of garlic to the jar for a more piquant flavor and aroma. Don't forget to serve with a side dish.

    Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use any fish: sea or river.

    Gut the fish, remove the skin, and rinse thoroughly. Remove the heads, large fins, and tail—optional. Rinse 0.5-liter jars and fill them with fish. If the fish are large, cut them into several pieces.

    Add 0.25 tsp of salt to each jar, place 2-3 bay leaves and 5 black peppercorns. You can also add other spices and seasonings to taste.

    Pour 100 ml of warm water into each jar, then tightly cover the jar openings with foil. Place the jars on a baking sheet in a cold oven, then heat the oven to 200-220 degrees and cook the dish for about 35-40 minutes, until done.
