Fish with vegetables in a pot
Description
This recipe won't take much time. Fish in a pot is delicious on its own, but adding fresh vegetables makes it even better! You can choose any vegetables you like, but I recommend not skipping celery—it adds a unique, piquant flavor and aroma. For cooking fish with vegetables in pots, it's good to use sea fish; I usually use pangasius fillet, which is not too fatty and boneless. For festive occasions, it's best to serve this dish right in the pots—it looks very impressive. 1. Thaw the fish fillet and cut it into medium-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Slice the onion into half-rings and add to the fish, along with mustard. Mix well and let it marinate. 2. Cut potatoes and celery into thin strips. 3. Grate the carrots on a grater. 4. Mix the vegetables together and season generously. 5. Pour some vegetable oil into the bottom of each pot. Place the vegetables in as the first layer. 6. Add the fish on top, and place a piece of butter over it. 7. If you're using a leaner fish instead of pangasius, pour a little broth into the pots to keep the dish juicy. 8. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at 180°C. As soon as the aroma appears, sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake for another 5 minutes. Done! Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
