Fish in cheese sauce
Description
This recipe won't take much time. 1. When it comes to choosing fish, there are no restrictions. The ideal option for this simple recipe with fish in cheese sauce is, of course, salmon or pink salmon, but even white fish fillet will work perfectly. First, wash the fillet and pat it dry with a paper towel. 2. Lightly season with salt and pepper on all sides. You can use fish spices and seasonings, but for salmon it would be unnecessary. 3. Pour a little oil into a frying pan and heat it up. Place the fish in the pan and fry over medium heat until tender. It's important not to overcook the salmon so it stays juicy and tender. 4. Meanwhile, you can prepare the sauce. Put the cheese into a small saucepan and add a little milk. Place over heat and warm slightly. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, mix in a handful of grated hard cheese. 5. Wash, dry, and finely chop the basil. 6. Add starch to the sauce, heat for just about a minute, making sure it doesn't boil. 7. Stir in the basil and mix thoroughly. That's it—the simple recipe is ready. Serve hot.
