Fish under sauce in the oven
Description
Tartar sauce has long ceased to be something unusual or unattainable. Today, you can easily buy ready-made sauce at the store, but its taste is different from the original, freshly prepared version. Thanks to this sauce, even a simple fish fillet acquires a refined and delicate flavor, which gourmets will truly appreciate. 1. Rinse the fish fillet under running water and pat dry with paper towels. 2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the fish to the marinade and let it sit for 30 minutes. 3. For the sauce: peel the garlic and finely chop it. Remove the pits from the olives and finely chop the flesh. Rinse the capers slightly and cut them in half, wash the green onions and finely chop them. Combine plain yogurt with the chopped ingredients, pour in the brine and mix. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 4. On a baking sheet, make a foil pouch the size of the fish fillet. Place the fish inside and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 15–20 minutes. 5. Do not immediately remove the cooked fish from the foil; let it rest to absorb all the juices. 6. Serve the fish with tartar sauce and garnish with a lemon slice.
