1. Peel and dice the onion into medium cubes. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté the onion over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2. Place the onion in a heatproof dish. This will be a bed for the fish. Wash the fillet, dry it, season with salt and pepper to taste. Place it on the onion and spread the sour cream on top.

3. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
