Classic Fish in Marinade Baked in the Oven
Description
The most classic pairing with fish is lemon juice. Any cooking novice will tell you that. This marinade is the quickest and tastiest way to prepare fish. The main advantage is that with this marinade, you're never at risk of ruining the dish or wasting time. Instead of thyme, I often use fresh or dried dill. It gives the fish a different flavor note. Try it and decide which marinade you prefer.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the fish. Rinse it under running water, then pat dry with a paper towel to absorb excess moisture.

Step 2

In a small container, squeeze the lemon juice, avoiding the seeds.
- 3
Step 3

Add olive oil to the lemon juice.
- 4
Step 4

Add the dried herbs to the marinade and mix until uniform. Pour the lemon mixture into a large, flat, and convenient dish that can accommodate your fish.
- 5

Dip the salmon evenly into the marinade on both sides.

Step 6

Cover the fish and let it marinate for 15 minutes. After the specified time, turn the salmon over and let it marinate for another 15 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Wrap the marinated fish in foil and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees.
