Fish in sweet and sour sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To get a sweet and sour sauce, I use tomatoes and apples. This combination perfectly delivers the desired flavor profile. I add my favorite spices, a pinch of salt, and the sauce is ready! You can leave it as is, or blend it until smooth using an immersion blender. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients and spices. Let's get started.

Step 2

Wash the fish, remove the head and innards, cut into pieces or leave whole, as preferred. Salt and wrap in foil. Place in the oven for 35 minutes at 200 degrees.

Step 3

Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings; remove the skin from the tomatoes and cut them into large cubes.

Step 4

Remove the core and peel from the apples. Slice them thinly. Crush the peeled garlic with a knife or finely chop it.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, add all the vegetables, and place over medium heat to sauté. During cooking, add water and simmer until the vegetables are tender.
