Description

A tasty appetizer for any gathering. I highly recommend using this recipe to make fish marinated in vinegar with onion. The appetizer turns out tender and very tasty! For this dish, any medium-sized fish with a small amount of bones will work; in my case, I used pike. You can prepare it similarly with bighead carp, silver carp, mackerel, herring, and the like. The finished appetizer can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one month. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Then drain off the marinade. Slice the onion into thin strips or half-rings. In clean jars, alternate layers of sliced onion and marinated fish pieces. Pour vegetable oil over the top (it should completely cover the fish). Seal the jars with lids and store the finished pickled fish with onion in vinegar in the refrigerator.
