Grilled fried fish
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The marinade gives the fish a red color, thanks to paprika and cayenne pepper, which tint the catfish fillets. The marinade infuses the fish with incredible aromas, resulting in a very juicy catfish. As a side dish, grilled mushrooms and a fresh green vegetable salad can be served. The finished dish is ready to be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Prepare the marinade. In a separate bowl, mix lemon juice, soy sauce, vegetable oil, ginger, garlic, green onion, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- 2
Step 2
Rinse the catfish fillet thoroughly under water, then pat dry with paper towels. Place the catfish fillet into the marinade, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate. Let the fish marinate for 1 to 2 hours.

Step 3
Preheat the grill and brush the grates with olive oil to prevent the fish from sticking. Grill the catfish for 4 minutes on each side. It's important to baste the fish with the marinade while cooking and when flipping the catfish. When you notice the fish has turned white, it means it's done.
