Torn Lavash Pie
Description
Homemade pastry for tea. You can take the pastry with you on a trip, to a picnic, to work. It pairs especially perfectly with hot tea with lemon, as it tastes slightly salty. You can use any type and variety of cheese that melts easily: mozzarella, feta, suluguni. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Grate the hard cheese using a fine-grated grater into a deep container: a bowl or salad bowl. Then crack a couple of chicken eggs into it, add cottage cheese of any fat content and salt. Rinse and finely chop fresh parsley and add it to the other ingredients in the bowl. Gently mix everything.
- 3
Step 3

Tear the lavash by hand into medium pieces. Mix with the cheese filling.
- 4
Step 4

Grease the pan with vegetable oil and pour the entire mixture into it. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the pan inside. Bake the pie for about 15‑20 minutes – no longer is needed, as it is made from ready‑made products. The main thing is that the cheese filling melts.
- 5
Step 5

Carefully remove the finished pie from the oven, and then from the pan.
- 6
Step 6

Cut into pieces and serve at the table with hot tea. The pastry is delicious both hot and cold.
