
Lavash rolls with sauerkraut and meat
Description
Suitable for both holidays and everyday meals. Thin flatbread—lavash—is sold today in any city. Such flatbread is excellent for preparing a huge variety of dishes. Our dish turns out simply superb. Serve the appetizer at the table.

1. Peel the onion and finely chop it.

2. Now let's prepare the minced meat. You can make it ahead of time, or buy it ready-made. You can also simply cut the meat into small pieces (only if it is fresh).

3. Rinse the pumpkin, remove the seeds, and cut off the tough skin. Grate the pumpkin flesh on a medium grater. Sauté the onion in a skillet with vegetable oil until translucent. Add the pumpkin and meat and braise for about ten minutes with the lid on. Then add the squeezed sauerkraut. Braise for 5 more minutes.

4. Cut the lavash in half, place three spoonfuls of filling on the edge of the lavash.

5. Fold in the edges of the trimmed lavash and roll into a roll. Beat the eggs with milk and salt. Grease the baking dish and place the rolls in it. Coat them with the milk-and-egg mixture. Pour the remaining mixture over the rolls.

6. Preheat the oven and bake the pan with our rolls for about fifteen minutes. Then transfer the finished rolls to a serving plate.
