Rolls with banana and chocolate filling
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Actually, you can make these rolls with absolutely any filling. But bananas and chocolate—that's a perfect, I'd say foolproof combination. The rolls turn out very moist, tender, soft, and extremely delicious. These rolls are ideal served with black coffee or strong tea. Be sure to try them. The ready dessert can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Step 2

Slice the banana into pieces and place in a saucepan, add sugar, mix and cook over low heat, stirring. Then pour in the wine. I use white wine, but you can use any. Simmer the mixture until it becomes relatively homogeneous and the banana is softened. You can puree it with a blender, but I prefer to leave it as is.

Step 3

Trim the edges off each slice of bread, leaving only the soft center. Then roll out each slice with a rolling pin to elongate and thin the bread. Place about 1 tablespoon of banana mixture (without heaping) and a small cube of chocolate onto each slice.

Step 4

Roll the filled bread into a roll. Dip first into egg, then into flour, again into egg, and finally into store-bought or homemade breadcrumbs made from the same toast bread.
- 5
Step 5

Place the rolls into a pan where the vegetable oil has already heated up well. Fry on all sides until a beautiful, appetizing golden crust forms. Transfer the cooked rolls onto paper towels. Once cooled, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.

Step 6

The rolls with banana and chocolate filling are ready. Enjoy your meal!
