Puff pastry rolls
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Baked goods made from puff pastry are one of my favorites. Wonderful taste, a wide variety of fillings, and most importantly, they bake very quickly and working with ready-made puff pastry is extremely easy. I always keep a pack of this pastry in my freezer, so I can bake something anytime. I especially like little rolls—the filling for them can be made from whatever you have in the fridge. Eggs with onions, cheese with sausage, sweet or savory cottage cheese with herbs and garlic—the possibilities for your imagination are endless. Now I'll tell you how. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Let's prepare the filling for the rolls. Mix cottage cheese, coconut flakes, powdered sugar, sour cream, and soaked and dried raisins.
- 2
Step 2

The filling should not be liquid, so it's better to add the sour cream at the very end.
- 3
Step 3

Roll out the thawed puff pastry into a flat layer and spread the filling evenly on top.
- 4
Step 4

Roll the dough with the filling into a thin, long roll.
- 5
Step 5

And then slice into small rolls.

Step 6

Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You can lightly sprinkle it with flour.
- 7
Step 7

Brush the rolls with vegetable oil and sprinkle with poppy seeds or chopped nuts.
- 8
Step 8

Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle the cooled rolls with powdered sugar.
