Pork Fat Rolls
Description
This appetizer comes together quickly and easily. From ordinary pork fatback, onion, and cucumbers, you can put together an attractive appetizer you’d be proud to serve even at a holiday table—not just at a casual, “quick” gathering. This dish is very simple to make. I’ll walk you through it step by step—the appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions

Step 1

The lard needs to be cut into thin strips. Frozen lard is very easy to slice.
- 2
Step 2

Marinate the onion. Slice the onion into thin half-rings, add a pinch of sugar and salt, a teaspoon of vinegar, and pour boiling water over it. Let it stand for about 10 minutes. Then drain off the marinade.

Step 3

Slice salted or pickled cucumbers into thin strips.
- 4
Step 4

On thin strips of salo, arrange marinated onion, spicy carrots, and pickles.
- 5
Step 5

Roll up the rolls and secure them with toothpicks. The toothpicks are only for decoration.

Serve the "men's" appetizer. Enjoy!
