Lavash roll-ups with filling

20 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The recipe won't take much time. 15 minutes in the oven is plenty for the roll. The heat will melt the cheese in the filling, release its juices, and soak into the lavash. The roll turns out with a tender, creamy, yet tangy filling. On top, you'll get a golden, crispy crust. Try making this roll at home—you won't be disappointed. You can eat it warm or after it has cooled. Serve with fresh herbs and sauce.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

First, rinse the dill, pat it dry with a paper towel, and finely chop it.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Place the cottage cheese and dill in a small bowl. Mix well with a fork until the cottage cheese is smooth.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Add garlic puree to the cottage cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Lay the lavash flat on the table and spread it with cream cheese. Spread the cottage cheese filling on top. A spoon makes this easier. If the mixture sticks, dip the spoon in cold water.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

For color, I recommend adding red bell pepper, cut into small pieces.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Tightly roll up the roll, trying not to leave any gaps. Grease the baking pan with butter. Place the roll in it. Brush the top of the roll with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. I also added flax seeds, but that is up to you.

    Step 7

    Step 7

Place the roll in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15–20 minutes. Once you see a golden crust, it’s time to take it out. Let the roll cool slightly and cut into pieces.
