Stuffed roll from pork fat
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. To make a delicious meat roll, you will need a large piece of lean pork and pork fat. The fat will make the roll juicy and prevent it from drying out after cooking. Rosemary will add a unique aroma, and the cheese will give it a creamy flavor. To find out when it's done, serve the finished dish at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash a piece of pork tenderloin or fillet, dry with paper towels, and remove any membranes and fat. Cut it lengthwise along the fibers as deeply as possible, but not all the way through.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the pork fat or bacon into thin slices. If you want to give the dish a special aroma, use smoked pork fat. Place half of the pork fat into the pork.
- 3
Step 3

Wash the fresh sage leaves under running water and dry them. Place the leaves into the roll. You can also use other spices or herbs.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the hard cheese into long strips. Then place them on the meat. It's better to use a type of cheese that melts well.
- 5
Step 5

Then place the remaining half of the bacon into the roll. Press the filling with your hands so that it does not "protrude" from the roll.
- 6
Step 6

Shape the meat and filling into a roll. Tie it with kitchen twine so it doesn't fall apart during cooking. Then rub the roll with oil and spices.
- 7
Step 7

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sear the roll on all sides until golden brown. Then bake the roll in the oven at 220 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.
