Chicken Roll
Description
Perfect for both special occasions and everyday meals. I present a very original way to serve chicken roll: filling wrapped in a cheese sheet! It looks original, gets eaten up in no time, and is easy to make—what else do you need for a beautiful festive appetizer? The dish turns out very hearty thanks to chicken breast and cheese; if you want to make it healthier, replace the mayonnaise with sour cream. I recommend garnishing this roll with chopped dill and honey mushrooms so it resembles a log. It can be served warm or chilled.

Step 1

1. Boil the chicken fillet until cooked through, let cool, and cut into small cubes. Add minced garlic, sour cream or mayonnaise. Add processed cheese, salt and pepper, and mix.

Step 2

2. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater, spread it in a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and heat for 5 minutes: the cheese should melt but not dry out.

Step 3

3. Spread the filling over the warm cheese, distribute it evenly, and carefully roll up the roulade. Let the roulade cool completely, then trim the uneven edges.
