Roll with mushrooms and spaghetti
Description
The roll base is made from eggs and mayonnaise, although mayonnaise can easily be replaced with sour cream or cream—same effect. The filling is interesting: it's simmered in milk with Worcestershire sauce and ketchup. The recipe suggests boiling 80 g of spaghetti, but it won't all fit, so cook 50 g—that will be enough. You can substitute the sausages with any other processed meat, but do not use raw meat. If using raw meat, it must be pre-cooked or fried. Regarding baking: if you have a square frying pan, you can prepare this dish even faster on the stovetop.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the required ingredients. I replaced the sausages with ham, and the onion with the white part of green onion.
- 2
Step 2

Cook spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions, drain completely, drizzle with vegetable oil, mix, and set aside for now.
- 3
Step 3

While the pasta was cooking, you can prepare the filling for the roll. Slice the onion, pepper, and mushrooms into thin slices, and cut the ham into cubes.
- 4
Step 4

Fry the chopped ingredients in vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes, stirring. Now pour in the milk, sauce, ketchup, and black pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add chopped fresh herbs if desired; I used 1 tsp of finely chopped parsley.
- 5
Step 5

Add the spaghetti to the filling, mix well, and remove from the heat.
- 6
Step 6

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. In a bowl, mix the eggs, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 7
Step 7

Mix until the mixture is uniform.
- 8
Step 8

Take a square baking dish, visually divide the egg mixture into three parts, pour 1/3 into the dish, and place it in the oven until the omelet is cooked. Do not overcook it; it cooks quickly.
- 9
Step 9

With a spatula, remove the omelet from the mold and place it onto a sushi mat lined with plastic wrap. Place the filling on top of the omelet. Using the mat, roll it into a log (without the plastic wrap).
- 10
Step 10

Remove the film and return the roll to the mold.
- 11
Step 11

And next to it, pour the egg mixture, return to the oven until the omelet is cooked, which will take about 2 minutes.
- 12
Step 12

Remove from the oven and continue rolling the cake directly in the pan.
- 13
Step 13

Roll up and pour in the last portion of the egg mixture. Return to the oven to finish baking.
- 14
Step 14

Roll up the last time into a roll.
- 15
Step 15

Transfer the roll to a cutting board and cut into 4-6 pieces.
- 16
Step 16

Drizzle the finished dish with ketchup and sprinkle with cheese (grated on a fine grater).
