Cream-filled choux pastry roll
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Different ingredients can be used as a filling for this roll: chicken, mushrooms, shrimp, eggs with herbs, cheese, etc. In this version, my filling consists of crab sticks with olives, eggs, and herbs. The dough is prepared using a traditional method and baked at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.

Step 1

1. First, we need to make choux pastry: melt the margarine and add milk. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, add flour, and set aside to cool completely. Then add the eggs and start beating the dough with a mixer. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the prepared dough onto it.

2. Slice the olives and spread them evenly over the entire surface. Now place in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Once the dough is cooked, remove the baking sheet and let the future roll cool slightly. Then turn it over so the olives are facing down.
