Cheese, Ham, and Mushroom Roll
Description
This appetizer is quick and easy to make. To prepare a cheese roll, you can use absolutely any cheese (for example, with a nutty flavor, salty, or milder). Besides hard cheese, processed cheese will also work. You can fill such a roll with any filling of your choice. The appetizer must be served cold. 1. I clean the mushrooms, trim the stem ends, and wash them thoroughly. I chop them into small pieces and sauté them in a skillet until done. 2. I place the eggs in a pot, cover them with cold water, boil until done, then cool, peel, and cut them into pieces. 3. I cut the ham into strips and mix it with the chopped eggs and mushrooms. I wash the parsley, mix it with the other ingredients, and add mayonnaise, salt, and spices to taste. 4. I put the hard cheese in a plastic bag. I bring water to a boil, place the cheese in it, and keep it there for about half an hour. I take it out and roll it into a sheet about 5 millimeters thick. 5. I spread the prepared filling over the cheese sheet, covering the entire surface, and roll it up. 6. I wrap the roll in foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 1.5–2 hours until fully set. 7. After 2 hours, I take the roll out, cut it into pieces of the desired shape, and garnish with cherry tomato halves. Serve with greens and sauce.
