Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You can easily make this appetizer at home—it's not at all difficult, and you can be 100% confident in the quality and taste of the final product. Here, I will share a simple and extremely practical recipe, explaining how to make a juicy and incredibly delicious pork knuckle roll. You'll need just a few ingredients and several hours. I usually prepare the pork knuckle roll at home in the evening, then leave it to set in the refrigerator overnight, so by morning the amazing appetizer is completely ready. The finished dish can then be served right away.

Instructions

Next, we make a cut along the bone and very carefully separate the flesh from the pit, trying not to damage the skin or the meat.

In a small bowl, mix the dried vegetables, ground pepper, and salt; you can add your favorite spices.

Now the meat should be thoroughly rubbed on all sides with the prepared mixture of spices and salt.

Next, we tightly roll the meat into a roll, tuck the edges of the roll inward, and place it into a shaping net. To make it easier to place the roll into the net, you can first lay it on a cardboard tube and then stretch the net over it.

    Step 6

    Step 6

Remove the cardboard tube and tie the ends of the net with thread.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Wrap the roll in several layers of foil, place it in a baking dish, and bake in the oven for 1-1.5 hours at 200 degrees.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

After the time has elapsed, carefully remove the foil and bake the roll for another 5-10 minutes without it.

    Step 9

    Step 9

Once the roll is browned, remove it from the oven and let it cool at room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator for 8–10 hours. After that, remove the netting from the roll, slice it, and serve. Enjoy your meal!
