Suluguni roll with herbs
Description
Suitable for both a holiday and everyday. 1. Unfold a sheet of lavash on your work surface and carefully cut it in half. 2. Brush each half with olive oil and spread it over the entire surface with a pastry brush. 3. Grate the cheese on a medium grater and place it in a deep bowl. 4. Wash, dry, and finely chop the herbs. A mix of dill, parsley, basil, cilantro, and scallions works best, for example. Add them to the bowl with the cheese and mix everything thoroughly. 5. Spread the filling in an even layer on the lavash. If you like, when making this suluguni-and-herb roll, you can add aromatic spices—ground garlic, khmeli-suneli, and so on. Sprinkle a little on top and roll up the lavash carefully. 6. Place a dry skillet over the heat and warm it up. 7. Pan-fry the rolls on both sides until golden brown. That’s it—your appetizing homemade suluguni-and-herb rolls are ready to serve. Serve warm or chilled.
