Lavash roll with cottage cheese and cherries
Description
Delicious pastry for the whole family. This roll turns out very tender, and the cherry filling complements it perfectly. If the cherries are very juicy, you can mix them with starch. You can reduce or increase the sugar; it all depends on your taste. This roll can be made with any berries or fruits. The chocolate can be omitted or replaced with white chocolate, and the powdered sugar with cocoa powder. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making a lavash roll with cottage cheese and cherries. If the cherries are not fresh, be sure to thaw them and let the juice drain.
- 2
Step 2

Place the cottage cheese, one egg, salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Separate the second egg into white and yolk. Add the white to the bowl with the cottage cheese; the yolk will be needed later. Mix everything thoroughly.
- 3
Step 3

Spread the lavash out on the work surface and spread the cottage cheese mixture in an even layer over the entire surface.
- 4
Step 4

Remove the pits from the cherries, if any, and spread the cherries over the entire surface of the curd mixture.
- 5
Step 5

Roll the lavash with cottage cheese and cherries into a tight roll. You can leave it as one long roll or cut it into two halves.
- 6
Step 6

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and place the roll seam-side down. Mix the egg yolk and brush it over the entire surface of the roll.
- 7
Step 7

Place the roll in a preheated oven and bake for 20–30 minutes at 180 degrees.
- 8
Step 8

Take the roll out of the oven and let it cool. Break the chocolate and melt it in a double boiler, then spread it over the surface of the roll. Then dust it with powdered sugar. Let the chocolate set, slice, and serve.

Step 9

Take it out of the oven and serve warm or cooled.
